Swish Rolls

Apart of our module M351 Media practicum, the class was tasked to come up with proposals on helping a local Patisserie known as Swish Rolls be more well known amongst the youths through the use of social media and content creation that engages the target audience.

I was apart of the Finances and budgeting team as well as the events team.

Client Brief

Swish Me If You Can is a campaign for our client Swish Rolls. It is a campaign targeted for young adults aged 17-21 where they get to experience the variety of Americanized flavors and unique pastries. The campaign aims to raise awareness about Swish Rolls and their fun brand personality and allow the audience to enjoy their high-quality products.

The campaign's objectives were to raise brand awareness of Swish Rolls and drive top of mind recall as a unique croissant and Swiss roll brand, increasing sales of Swish Rolls products during the campaign period as well as increasing their social media followers for the brand across its social media pages on both Instagram and TikTok by 700 followers each and the social media engagement related to the campaign.

Campaign Strategy

Swish Me If You Can is a play on words of Catch Me If You Can. The campaign includes both online and offline aspects.

 

  • Online: They engaged with influencers and posted social media content on their brand's social media pages.

 

  • Influencers: BenWoah an online influencer well known on TikTok for his skits/pranks. He has 60.8K followers and he also posts food content. Ben posted a TikTok Video of visiting the brand's outlet and trying out their product.

 

Brand's social media: There were multiple videos posted on Swish Rolls' TikTok Account targeting Youths and promoting the campaign/event.

 

RPDMC Instagram: Social media posts and stories were posted on the Page. They were then reposted by Swish Rolls on their Instagram. 

 

For the physical activation, there was a treasure hunt that was inspired by Skqii HuntTheMouse Event.The physical activation consists of 2 mascots running around with a series of challenges that students will have to participate in, to redeem a prize from the redemption booth. There were 3 different games, like coin toss, match the cards and eating without hands. There was also a photo area where students can get their photos taken and printed as a memorable piece. Stickers specially designed for this campaign were also given out to students who participate in the challenges.
